Veterans' Compensation Cost-Of-Living Adjustment Act Of 2005 Passes With Congressman Rohrabacher’s Support
Washington, Jul 13, 2005 - The Veteran’s Compensation Cost of Living Adjustment Act, H.R. 1220, passed today. This measure provides a cost-of-living adjustment to the rates of disability compensation for veterans with service-connected disabilities and to the rates of dependency and indemnity compensation for survivors of certain service-connected disabled veterans effective December 1, 2005.
On passage, Congressman Rohrabacher said, “The men and women who have fought for our country deserve the best care. Veterans can count on their government to provide for them, it is the least we can do for the sacrifices they’ve made on our behalf.”
