United Nations Climate Change Summit
Washington, Sep 27, 2009 - This week, the United Nations is holding a "Climate Change Summit" to get the international community on the same page about man-made global warming. They are preparing for the UN "Climate Change Conference" in Copenhagen this December, where they plan to create even more oppressive and harmful rules than those imposed by the 1997 Kyoto Protocol for all the nations of the world. The proposed new rules will surely hurt the global economy even more by laying the foundation for their plan of global governance under the United Nations.
The planet has not warmed in eleven years, and yet we are the ones called "deniers.” Global warming alarmists say they expect cooling in the coming years and yet still claim even that is a sign of global warming! Outrageous!
The U.N meeting is nothing more than a disgraceful collection of the worst human rights violators in the world masquerading as leaders, making promises they have no intention of keeping for a problem that doesn't exist. In short, it is everything we've come to expect of the United Nations.
These paragons of evil now profess how much they care about the planet and use the United Nations as a platform to push global regulations and to attack the United States and our way life, specifically, capitalism. Now if we can just get them to care about the inalienable rights of their own citizens.
It is more important now than ever before that the American people stay diligent in their opposition to devastating legislation like the Cap & Trade bill recently passed by the House( I, of course voted against this), now awaiting deliberation in the Senate. We cannot afford to have a "cap and tax" bill signed into law that will certainly raise energy prices, destroy jobs, and potentially place our economic well being in the hands of the globalists.
