Transportation Appropriations Measure Wins with Rohrabacher’s Support
Washington, Jun 30, 2005 - H.R. 3058, the appropriations measure funding federal transportation projects, passed today. “Transportation infrastructure is integral to American’s commerce. This bill funds important federal priorities that will keep goods moving across the country as well as critical housing programs for those in need,” said Congressman Dana Rohrabacher.
The bill represents a 6% growth over last year’s comparable levels. It boosts highway spending, supports aviation, addresses critical housing needs, supports National anti-drug efforts, and provides for smarter, more efficient Amtrak operations.
