Washington, Nov 11, 2010 - Veterans’ Day is a day held close to the hearts of every American, with November 11 of each year serving as a day of honor for American veterans of all wars and conflicts. America is founded on the principles of freedom, justice, & liberty for all. Today, take a sacred moment to remember those who sacrificed their lives to protect those ideals and thank those who are currently serving. Let us renew our national promise to fulfill our patriotic obligations to our veterans whose sacrifices allow us to live freely. Their service is invaluable to the defense and well-being of each and every citizen of the United States of America.

As we take this day to express our gratitude to our Veterans, let us not forget that it is their sacrifice that ensures our security at home and abroad. It was the heroism and dedication of our military personnel that once kept us safe from the Axis powers in World War II, and continues to keep us safe from the countless threats we face as a nation today. Each and every member of our armed forces, past and present, deserves our deepest and most humble thanks for their dedication to the defense of the United States and everything for which our nation stands.
Let us renew our national promise to fulfill our patriotic obligations to our veterans whose sacrifices allow us to live freely. Our nation owes them an eternal debt of gratitude.

In Freedom,

Dana
