WASHINGTON, D.C.-Representative Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) believes NASA is on the right track.
"I applaud the President for pushing the envelope of space exploration and at the same time paying attention to our pocket books. In doing so, the President is being both responsible and visionary. Selecting the Moon as our first destination for our space program holds the potential in realizing a deferred dream. The establishment of a lunar research base, followed by human settlement, provides the needed stepping off point for even greater adventures. I believe the Administration's commitment to this enterprise will force NASA to prioritize its resources in order to meet this historic challenge."
"It is critical that NASA's human space exploration be built upon a foundation of credible and affordable goals. With today's announcement I'm confident we are finally on the right track."
