Washington, Jun 2, 2010 - A very special remembrance ceremony took place this Memorial Day, as the 33rd annual Tolling Of The Boats was held to commemorate submarines and their crews that have been lost. Bells were rung as the names of more than fifty submarines were read to honor veterans who served during times of war. Photographer Daniel DeBoom was on hand at the World War II National Submarine Memorial-West in Seal Beach to capture these images of soldiers past and present, speakers like former Long Beach mayor Eunice Sato and current Congressmember Dana Rohrabacher and plaques to honor our bravest Americans.
