Tuesday, Jul 23
As comprehensive immigration reform stalls in the U.S. House of Representatives, some Golden State Republicans back home are wringing their hands. They say the rhetoric they’re hearing from GOP Congressmen threatens an already floundering California Republican Party.
“It’s very sad the Egyptian people were only given two options, Islamic extremist rule or a military government. Given their options it seems the Egyptian people have more faith in the military, as a result the Islamic extremist should be escorted out the door.”
Today, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry suggesting that billions of dollars of usable U.S. military equipment, now being scrapped in Afghanistan, be made available to nearby allies.
Today, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry urging the State Department step aside and permit Afghan Northern Front Leaders to take the lead in negotiating with Taliban and for the U.S. not to negotiate with representatives of the Taliban, led by terrorist leader Mullah Omar.
A House Republican who disputes human-induced global warming is bashing a pro-Obama group’s use of the term “climate deniers” to describe many in his party.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., is ripping Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and other Republicans for facilitating the Democratic approach to immigration reform and deceiving the American people about what’s in the legislation.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) says Speaker John Boehner should be ousted if he rams through an immigration bill without majority Republican support.
Not for a moment do I think he’s following the Hastert Rule here on principle, but that’s okay. As long as the House GOP gets a veto, I don’t care what his motive is. Fear works just fine.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) warned Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) would face a conference revolt that could threaten his Speakership if he allows a House vote on the immigration bill presently being debated in the Senate.
