Rohrabacher Lauds Senate Confirmation of Bridenstine as NASA Chief

Apr 19, 2018

WASHINGTON – Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-CA, released the following statement Thursday upon the Senate vote, 50-49, to confirm his colleague Jim Bridenstine to head the National Aeronautics and Space Administration:

I am pleased that the Senate has finally confirmed President Trump's choice to lead NASA. Jim Bridenstine will be an excellent NASA Administrator because of his leadership and his depth and breadth of knowledge on space projects. I recommended him to President Trump and Vice President Pence for this position because of his tremendous record of service to America and his strong commitment to our national space and aeronautics goals.

I have worked with him as a member of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee and a member of the Space Subcommittee, during his entire tenure, and I look forward to continuing to work with him on space policy in his new role. NASA could not have a better leader at the helm.
