Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution vests the power to create federal laws with the United States Congress, and specifies its jurisdiction. As a Representative of the 48th Congressional District of California in the House of Representatives, I am responsible for, among other things, voting on legislation. I also may draft and introduce bills for consideration in the House. Below is information about my work in Congress on your behalf.
