I will continue fighting for hardworking taxpayers Sep 30, 2008
Washington, Sep 30, 2008 - I was recently recognized by the National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) for my unwavering commitment to fighting on behalf of the American taxpayer. I earned an ‘A” grade on the NTLC score card and was presented with the “Tax Fighter Award” for my voting record on tax and spending issues during the 110th Congress.
NTLC President Lewis K. Uhler announced the presentation of the award recently in Washington, DC, saying, “Congressman Rohrabacher has led the battle on behalf of the taxpayers to make the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts permanent, eliminate the death tax, to kill the Alternative Minimum Tax, to eliminate the 1993 tax increase on Social Security earnings, to provide incentives for private savings, investment and job creation and to control the growth of federal spending.
“Congressman Rohrabacher has been a major asset to taxpayers across America during his congressional service. He has had the courage to challenge the orthodoxy of Washington spending and earmarks,” concluded Uhler.
I am proud to accept this award and will continue to fight for pro-growth, low tax policies for the American taxpayers.
“The federal government has taken too much tax money from the people, too much authority from the states, and too much liberty with the Constitution.”
